If heavy metal is involved it can get more expensive but i would think $300.00 max even with heavy metal.

My wife bought a rotating assy from OHIO Crank for her car and they did it for $150, and that was internally balanced.

The big problem in todays world is that almost no one balances an engine any more, since pistons are within a couple grams and rods are within a couple grams, most of the companys only balance the crank shafts, useing the nominal weights of the rods and pistons, there fore the cheap $100.00/$150.00 balance jobs. A few yrs ago i bought a rotating assy from Shafiroff, and crank and rods came from them and the pistons were drop shipped from JE. Pretty good indication that they only balanced the crank shaft.

here at our shop we always match pistons, rods before any balance job. we high speed balance and shoot for less than 1 grm. just makes a difference of right or wrong.

BB&T in Memphis does the same, and the cost is around $300.00, a couple shops here in La. also balances/matches the piston, rods and then the crank also around $300.00.
