bbc balance question

Default bbc balance question

i have a internally balanced 468 chevy,am getting a dart block and going 4.5 bore,old pistons weighed 587 new ones weigh 618, should i rebalance?

Its pretty close but......I would,.. its all apart,....

Now your crank is under balanced which is not a good thing over balance that much would be fine 31 GRAMS under balanced is a lot!!!!!!!!!

Get it balanced while it is apart wont have any headaches later :wink: :wink: ...balance the whole assy, crank, rods, pistons, balancer and flywheel

Which weighs more 25 lbs of wet sand or 25 lbs of dry sand.

They weight the same,

Your new pistons don't.

I would most definately get the rotator balanced.
