I required buyers to send only US postal money orders. They are cashed at the post office and cash is king. This method allows me to tell buyers that I will send the same day I receive there money order, if it is on any day but sunday.
They cost $1.03 for orders up to $1000. and a little more for larger ones here in michigan. Guys in canada can use there postal money orders purchased in canada and they are cashed at our US post offices the same. Any buyer that complaines about this method is not my buyer, Honor is Honor both ways as far as I am concerned.
Pay pal cost a percent or the sale and is much more expensive to the seller always than the one Buck that the post office charges for there money orders.
Good luck selling

Sending money
I prefer Paypal or Postal Money Orders. Postal money orders are probably the safest money orders because forging a postal money order would be a federal crime. Cashiers checks are too chancey, easily forged and cashed before it's realized they are a forgery. After it's found out that it is a forgery, you are stuck paying back the funds.

"Paypal" another Ebay extension
A little story about Paypal I have posted a long time ago..
A friend sold a guitar on Ebay for $1300 and was paid thru his Paypal account and guitar was shipped to California from NY...The buyer then lodged a complaint thru his credit card company and denied the payment but the guitar stayed in his possession in Ca...after about 3 months for some reason the buyer decided to return the guitar undamaged..The friend closed the Paypal account....
