Default hurest quarter stick electric shifter

Have a hurst electric shiftnoid that has three wires coming from it. Newer versions only have two. Question is where do the wires go?? Hurst doesn't have a clue. Got a good idea but need to be sure. Anybody running one of these? Thanks

Default shifter

The current version has the two wires and is easy to wire up. This one has three(red, black and white). tried wiring it several ways but none seem to work right. Guess i.ll buy a different one. Thanks

I will sumize the red is battery hot, the black is battery ground and the white is hooked to the trigger wire from the rpm activated switch.

Just a thought>Cp
