How much octane???

Default How much octane???

Looking for opinions: In my new 540 12.6:1CR im planning on running VP Fuel. I was told VP 110 is good to 14:1 and 8000 RPM or would i be better off with thier C 12 ?

110 Will be fine ..

But I'll add you should look at other fuels your paying for the name there.

I agree, their are plenty other fuels out there that dont cost $10 a gallon, I use sunoco 110 in my 496BBC, it has 13 to 1- cast iron heads - zero problems> 2 years running and it smells good too.

Sounds good and i can get 110 for $6.50 a gal. c12 for $7.00 a gal.
