Default Cody's 89 mustang

Here some pics of Cody's 89 GT mustang, he's my girlfriend son and this is his firct car, I think I got him hooked on dragracing now, but that's a good thing right?

We yanked the tired EFI 5.0 and crammed in a carbed 351W, not an easy swap but worth it in the long run as the 351W is a much better base than the weak OEM 5.0 piece.
Had to sump the fuel tank, run all new lines, convert ignition to all MSD, swapped out the AOD tranny for a much stronger C4. We did a A/C elim and smog pump elim (dont tell EPA!)
I've still got to weld in the sub frame connectors and we've also got another set of rims for the back W/slicks mounted to do a at the track swap.
Hoping for low 8's to high 7's in the 1/8 - I'll keep ya'll posted.
Cp

After stabbing it in there.

The finished product, kinda..

Cody was a good flashlight holder and even learned a few new cuss words. It was a great experience that we both will remember for years to come.
