damn, i remember when amc went. i NEVER dreamed that olds would go anywhere nor pontiac. i HATE all import vehicles.but the sad truth is i have not liked a new gm car since 1972.the only thing i do like on any newer car is fuel inj.its sad that my son(24)is not going to get to enjoy the american car scene that i got to enjoy or that of my fathers.the raw hp in daily drivers. man i am really having trouble enjoying my life lately, i cant seem to except these times of tuners and fuel effeciant cars. i miss high hp, gas guzziling factory rides. i miss seeing 32 3 window fords 41 willys tri fives runnin the roads everyday.it is such a thrill if i see just one on the hi way. PLEASE gm hang on to whats left!! ken

That's why it makes me vomit to see Hollywood destroy a classic car in a movie.

The bigger question is what happens when GM is forced into bankruptcy? What will happen to Corvette and the new Camaro, and will this mark the end of GM involvement in providing factory hot rod parts like crate engine? Bummer. Maybe we can all buy Volts and live for a couple hundred years.
