Default Craig and Joe Orick in Lafollette, Tenn.

I bought 2 new turbo-start batteries and a battery charger from these guys and when the batteries got here they were dead and although they charge they dont hold when you load them. They are supposed to be getting new ones sent and I've waited for weeks and still nothing. I hate to post this but I've bought stuff off here for years and this is my first time not getting good stuff. Beware of these guys you might have my same faith with them I did.

Craig called 2 weeks ago yesterday and was supposed to call turbo-start and get this mess straightened out but still I haven't heard anything. Beware of who you deal with on here.

Default batteries

I didn't know turbo-start had a problem or went out of business or I would never had bought the batteries. Anyway I'm sure I lost the money on these. I would never put junk off on anyone it's just not worth it. Anybody got any recomendations on what would be the best 16 volt battery to buy. Thanks

I don't run 16v stuff but I have a friend with a promod and he swears by the Powermaster brand called XS POWER 16 lightweight , before that he had 2- 8 volt golfcart batts , never ran them down , just heavy as hell..just my 2 cents!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys I got a lot of good response for the Powermaster from folks at the track and 1 on here. I hope people read this thread and don't buy from the Orick boys. They seem like nice people but anyone who will sell junk and then not make it right get under my skin. They need to be exposed. I can't believe Turbo-start don't take care of it if they know they have a problem. I hope people don't buy from them if the batteries aren't no good. I thank everyone for the help.

I got a powermaster and I'm well satisfied I just wish there was someway to deal with the Orick boys on the bad batteries. You would think that RJ could do something.

Most guy's hasn't heard of these yet but i have sold several to some of the local racers and i have one in my car these things are killer.
You may want to check them if you are in the need for a new battery.
