Default electric fan & water pump

What size fan should i use on a full size be cool alum.radiator?
What gpm H2o pump should i use?
500-600 hp sbc 400 motor in a 1986 ss monte carlo that Im just going to race.
also is there anyone who will insure a race car?

Check w/ grundy antique insurance. also check w/ becool, I think they offer the fan, shourd, you need. Kris

Fit the biggest fan you can. Chuck on a CSR electric water pump. If you're dragging it, set the fan and pump on manual switches so you can run just the pump down the track and turn on the fan afterward. You can also leave the pump running after switching off the motor to cool it down quick.

just a pointer about buying electric fans..check on the CFM'S of them..i've seen big 17" that only have half CFM'S of say a 15" fan of another brand...the CFM'S is what you want to look for..that is how much air the fan pushes or pulls
