This may be a crazy question but i will ask any way. I know the front sub-frame from a early 70s nova will fit a camaro(68). i have a 70 model nova that was started as a drag car. it has a 6 point cage, wheel tubs, etc. The body is in pretty rough shape. I was wondering if i could take the body off and put my 68 camaro in its place? would the wheel base be the same and is the roof taller on the nova which would cause the camaro roof to hit the bar. any info would be appreciated. I just want to make me a pro street car and dont want to waste a good frame if it will work. thanks for any advice

It is a unibody that's been back-halved with a 4-link and single adjustable coil overs set on #6 (of 12). The front is stock with one coil cut frm each spring and new Comp Engineering 3-way adjustable shocks set on 90/10.

The 68-72 Nova's had a 111-112" wheelbase and the 68 Camaro has a 108" wheelbase from the factory. You could possibly make up some distance in the rear quarters when you enlarge them and you could also shorten the 4-link bars some.
