FYI This is about the last place that I would ask what cam to run in any combination. You should be giving this info to a cam manufacturer. We have opinions but do not grind cams. Comp is a good choice as recomended, but the specs need to be provided by a grinder of cams not what billy bob did on his engine. You have a lot of info on your combo to give a cam manufacturer that sells them every day. You make your own luck. The better the info you are working with the better the luck. Thank you for using Racing Junk for your question and GOOD LUCK!

I think that since you are only loaning this engine & unless your friend is intending to build a duplicate of what you are lending him,why would you invest any cash into tempory cams when you can use what you already have? Yes,you will not have optimised the engines HP,but, there are many places in a car where you tune,& that can keep you busy while you build the engine that will finally go in it(even a little sooner with the savings made by using mostly suitable parts that you already have).Good luck.
