Default LS 1 C-5 Corvette Engine Block

Guys, I need some help.
I have never messed with an LS1 engine. Don't know anything about them.
Could anyone tell me if the motor mounts and bell housing bolt pattern for a 1979 type of engine block is the same or differentfor an LS 1 in a 1998 C5 Corvette?

Motor mounts are not. There is one bolt that will not line up on the bell housing...

I thought the 4l60 and the 4l80's bolted up to the lS1, it was just my thought, i have a 1998 Sonoma, that had a LS1 installed before i purchased it, i know the engine mounts are different, for sure. I don't this :?: i'm just curious.

5 of the bolts will line up, this is on a turbo or a 'glide. That is, on the 2 I have worked on. The top right facing the engine is not the same, if I remember correctly.

It want be a problem for me because i'm putting the 406" motor that used to be in my Malibu 3250 lbs with a glide. I'm leaving the motor mounts in the truck and useing a motor plate, for this installation. I took the compression out of the motor and put flattops in it. When it was a 13.5 motor it ran 6.26 at Holly Springs on alcohol, i'm going to pump gas and hopefully i can drive it to Sonic and too the track and run in the 6.'s or 10.'s in the qtr. it may be dreams, but the little 1998 stepside shortbed will only weigh about 2600/2700 lbs.. I haven't set the motor in yet but i'm hoping i can use the crossmember that was welded in for the 4l80 trans. I don't have a driveshaft yet because i don't have the lenght yet. BJ gave me a MW trans yoke and i have billet MW rearend yoke. Either way i think it will be a fun truck when i finish putting it together.
