A FRIEND OF MINE LIVES IN ATLANTA,GEORGIA AND IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO NARROW A 9" REAREND AND SHORTEN AND RESPLINE HIS AXLES 8) 8)

moser engineering has prices for shortening and respline on their
web site i think its www.moserengineering.com or just do a search
they have a neat site and still do shop work, good luck :wink:

I would do the axle if you lived closer!!! The only place i know is in dallas texas that resplines axle near me. If you buy new, go with strange not moser.

is strange closer, they do shop work as well, they have prices
on their site also, are moser's axels that bad? i have a strange
spool w/moser 35 spl axels and these are beefy and have
taken alot of abuse, oh well :?

i have narrowed a ton of housings and there is a place not tooo far from me that will respline stock axles, but this is generally only in low hp applications. Even though i have had many stock 28 spline ford axles handle 700 hp in 3000lb applications with no problems...i dont recommend it! I have seen several issues with moser axles and they have never helped with resolving them. Every axle i order is strange, always fast, friendly and a great product! This is just my personal experience... i am sure there is plenty of opposing opinions and i dont mean to offend anyone by my post

knock on wood i haven't had any problems with moser stuff my car is 3200 lb & runs 6.0's in the 1/8. also don't know anyone around he that has had any.kwk what kind of problem have you had? thanks john

Hey Lively,
I live here in Douglasville, about 30 mins from Atlanta and I don't know of any place close that narrows rear ends. I will look some more and if I found someone, I will let you know.
