Default Global warming,...er....the current ICE AGE and race cars...

For you guys and gals in the warmer climate zones that may experience freezing temps this winter.
If your race car is outside or even stored inside you could get a power outage long enough to freeze your coolant. If you are running straight H2o and no anti freeze, you need to drain your engine and radiator ! Take your radiator completely out as there will still be straight water in the lower tubes that you cannot drain even by pulling the lower hose. You don't do that and you might as well as figger a new radiator for next season. The alternative is naturally to drain the engine only and install a 50 / 50 antifreeze / water mix. You do this, don't forget to run the engine long enough to open the thermostat and get that mix throughout the cooling system.
We're gonna hit single digits here in Boise this weekend, which is sorta rare here. Course with global warming and all I'm not surprised in the least !
