Alum rod ?
whats your thoughts on alum rod on the street?talking about 25-30 miles a year any cons to this?

New, quality brand, no problem. Anything else is a risk.

I RAN ALUMINUM RODS IN MY SMALLBLOCK FORD FOR SEVERAL YEARS [ STREET AND STRIP] AND HIGH RPM--REAR GEARS IN THE MID 4's--NO PROBLEM!!!!!!!----I DROVE 65 MILES TO THE DRAGSTRIP AND BACK AND DROVE IT DURING THE WEEK ALSO 8) 8)

Make sure you clearance everything for the alum. rods and let your engine warm up good before you rip the thottle.
