Default new 75% -25% carbs

I was reading a add I receved from chuck Nuytten about a new carb he has out It uses 75% racing fuel and 25% alcohol ,claims to use the same heat plugs same fuel pump as racing fuel Has anyone tryed one of these or know someone who runs one ????? would like some feed back thanks :?

There was a topic on one of the forums a few months back, seemed guy had more trouble then it was worth and took it back off.

IMO a good gas or alky carb would be much better.

Buy a alcohol 4150 (APD) and leave the fuel mixing to someone else. Sounds like nothing but problems waiting to happen.

i was told that chuck had alot of problems out of his alcohol stuff so noway i'd try that :shock: , i agree with dparker apd makes good stuff and their good guys too.

Thanks guys for your freed back ,I'll agree that it sounds like it would be more trouble then it worth,so I'l stick with my carb again thank

You could always try carb w/fuel and alcohol Injection at manifold (direct Injection). I do it with blowers quite a bit.

If your looking to reduce static pressure just throw a 100 shot on a carb with fuel.
