depends on a lot.weight of vehicle, torque applied are main factors to start somewhere...ive seen cars run sevens in quarter with simple tire screws.i run mid eights @ 160 mph with screws on et streets...so what are the specifics on your application?

I know by all means a screw will be enough, but just wondering if there is any disadvantage with a beadlock on a street car. I have a 3400 lb 70 chevelle engine makes 650 ft/lb.

I've been thinking about this since you posted and I can't come with anything that would prevent me from running them. If you are worrying about the side loading around corners I would think they would never see anything as bad as what rock crawlers do to them.
