Default A RACER WAS KILLED AT EATONTON GA. 1/8 MI TRACK

Michael Weekly was driving Jhon Hobbs black nova when it got lose at 200' mark he couldn't recover the car struck the gaurd rail and the rail came in the car severing his leg he was life flighted to grady where he was in ICU over night he passed at 6 am mon. 11-03-08 he was 27 and had a wife and unborn child. the track has needed alot of work for a long time maybe this will open the owners eyes and stop putting all the money in there pocket and fix the track. and VHT more then 60' and replace the guard rail with a wall!!!

PLEASE PRAY FOR HIS FAMILY!!!!

horrible. ..you know if you race SPRINT CARS or something like that...everyone worries about you geting hurt constantly...but not so much with a drag car....this goes to show you anything can happen.

OUR PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY,SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THIS.I RECENTLY SOLD MY BLOWN FED BECAUSE OUR LOCAL TRACK IS IN SUCH BAD SHAPE AND STILL HAS BENT AND UNSAFE GUARDRAILING AND I CANNOT AFFORD TO TRAVEL ANY DISTANCE.RICK IN GEORIGA

Very sad news, I surely hope they have lots of family to help them get through the turbulent waters laying ahead.
