Vince,
The Nova is looking real good. I will be looking for the "underneath" shots of the car soon.

Question for ya..i have a 69 camaro with a turbo 350..its a 406ci..what's the balancing situation if i converted to 4 speed ?

Brian,
If i understand your question, I may be able to help.

If it's an externally balanced 406, then you'll need a external balance flywheel. You'll know when, you pull the flexplate, if it has a weight welded to the crank side of the flexplate, it's externally balanced.

If the flexplate doesn't have the weight, it's internally balanced, you can run a flywheel for a 350 etc.

Don't run the wrong flywheel though, ask me how I know.

BTW, Glad you're back. Hope this helps.

Guess I'm alittle late to answer your question Brian. Earl answered for me. He is correct.
The Nova is a SBC pump gas motor and I'm running a Doug Nash Pro shifted 5 speed. My plans are to run it awhile with this combo and maybe run stock eliminator in it next year. Plus raise hell on the streets
