Default max stroke in sbc bowtie with 55mm cam/aluminum rods/steel r

Does anybody have any info on the max stroke that can be installed with out any grinding in a sbc bowtie block, 9.025 deck height with the 55mm roller cam with both aluminum rods and steel rods? 3.500, 3.625, or 3.750 stroke? Rod journals will be 2.00. Thanks for any info. Jeff klei.

Default stroke

all i can tell you is that in a stock 350 block with stock stroke you will need to notch block for aluminum rods and depending on what brand rod some you need to notch more, i used bill miller and had to clearence just the od bolt heads.. hope this helps

Default

Thanks for the info. I have mgp rods with the 3/8 rod bolt on the 2.00 journal. I think I will stick with the 3.500 stroke and take my chances. Thanks again, Jeff klei.
