Default Anyone tired of the Pop-ups?

Just like the subject says, they bomb out my explorer! I would like to look at the ads but the pop-ups cover them up and bomb me out! It has made me stop coming to this site!

If you look in "My Account" there is an option to help stop these advertisements, you need to check off the NO option there. Also a good

AVG anti-virus 7.5 or 8.0 will also help.
If you look at the top of your page in the "tools" there is also an option there also to turn on or off pop ups.hope this helps.

I have mine set to turn off pop up on both items in "my account" in the classifeds part and also the "tools" and have NO problem with pop ups.

I also have AVG 8.0 anti virus downloaded also its free

http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Vir...dlPid=10861654

Works for me :P

With Internet Explorer 7.0 I almost NEVER get pop ups.

Also if you download the GOOGLE TOOLBAR it has a built in pop up blocker that can be turned on and off very easily. I could not tell you thye last time I got a pop up...seriously.

I've got windows explorer 7 and XP-Pro, there's absoulutely no popups, as Todd says they both put a stop to popups and protect your computer from most exe viriuse's, i also go to Walmart and purchase the Nortons antivirius for $40.00. i have 2 computers up and running with these's system's and have not had one virius, in over 3 yrs. running. I'm also a programmer, and could fix if something happened, but the bottom line is protect yourself at all times, because one day one of these's popup's will have a virius and it will melt down your hard drive.

Just from experience,

Zip.

you don't need an AV to stop pop ups. It is a free feature of IE7
