I ran quicker than what they were looking for but I had a great time. Yall might have to copy the link and put it in all tool bar. Take care guys

Thanks, that was my second run in the Vega. I left at 3000 rpm and shifted at 6000. I know I have a lot more in it. I just need to learn how to drive it. I have a 406 (that I bought from bjuice) with a PG and a 5500-5800 convertor. 4:88 gears.

Nice Pic.
Maybe you will be on the All out takes since you didn't make the show.
I'll be watching for ya too.
We went to the All out at Gateway Race track. Had a good time too.

Got to disagree with the above. Watched the episode last week (july 17-18, maybe?). They had a 12 second field. For what the show is, wasn't all that bad racing wise.

I guess to me it's all relative. We built some 11-12 second cars, 30 or so years ago, that were every bit as exciting as some of the 8-9 second cars are today. One thing sure hasn't changed, it hasn't gotten any cheaper, LOL!

Just my opinion, kind of hope this stuff is still around when I get my car back together in a couple of years.
