Default chassis certification

Hello everyone. I'm new to this, seems like a great bunch of people on here! I live in s/w Florida (just below Tampa) and need to get my car I just built certified. I see the closes Division 2 Cert guy is in Jacksonville. Thats around 250 miles away........WOW! ....Is that the only way? Is there another way to get a certification done? Thanks for any help.

They will come to your car for a price, might be cheaper then driving there.

Hammer's right, they will come to you for an additional fee. Every time I had one certified I had them come to my place. check with the tracks you race (or will race) at to see if they have an event scheduled that they will have chassis certification at. I have seen this done around here. If not you might see if you can get a group of local racers together that need it done so you split the cost of having them come to you.

Great idea, thanks. I was hoping that they would have something at the track at some time. We have the FAST FORD and US STREET NATIONALS @ Bradenton Motorsports Park. Hopefully something will come up at one of those events. I will contact BMP. Thanks guys!

Generally at a divisional or national event you might find a tech person. If not, get a group of guys from the track and split the cost for the tech guy to come to you.
