hers what my old chilton says---1968--350 hp version---375 hp version,69---add a six pack version and thats 390. ---70,same as 69 350,375,and 390.--71,--335,370,and six pack-385. now for the bad news,,1972,--has footnotes 1 and 2, which read ratings are net --as installed in vehicle and with dual ex.---255,245, and six pack 330.1973--gets worse---the 400 had 40 more hp than the 440.the 400 rated 260 and the 440 as chilton --220 and280 no more six pack. 1974 230 220 and275.thats as far back as my book goes. i just bought my first mopar last week.67 belvedere 440 clucth pedals hanging but auto. in it.ccars in sad shape (for now).dont even run. bodys pretty rough but hell its a 440. run numberson car 1978 440 truck engine very low hp. but with rebuild numbers will go up and up and up
