Default nitrous bottle filling??

Do the bottles get out dated? If so can you get them re-certified, or do you have to buy a whole new bottle.

I have an older sniper bottle, can I put a hi-flow valve on that bottle?

Thanks for the help,

Travis

another couple questions. I have an old NOS sniper bottle, I want to put a hi-flow valve in it. Is it hard to do? do you have to be certified to do it? Also can you paint old bottles, just so you get new stickers?

Let a good welding shop change the valves. Ive never done it either,Ive always used new bottles. Or try calling the company with the bottle or valve you want to use. You should be able to paint the bottles,Ive sure seen it done!! As far as new stickers, You dont have to have stickers on the bottles if you dont want them, The recert info is stamped into the bottles when there made and arent on the stickers!!! Hope this helps,David.

I put in a High Flow NOS Valve in my Edelbrock bottle. It was fairly easy.
I don't remember anything needing to be on the threads. I have seen lots of Nitrous Bottles Powercoated and painted to match cars..
