Default Diesel Programmers

with diesel being almost $5 a gal i'm going to put a programmer on my 2005 duramax. i don't care about more hp, it already has plenty. i just want a basic plug in programmer. no dash mounted adjustable ones.
Who has the best features / price? edelbrock, bully dog. hypertech, jet, etc??

Thanks

Edge e-z is one of the best i have seen, put one on my 03 dodge cummins and brought fuel mileage up from 17-18 to about 23 mpg now, and the extra power never hurts, they are very easy to install in about 10 minutes.

i have a bully dog just plugs in under the dash in port push but you want it set on and unplug it and stick it under the seat. gained 3 mpg been on the truck for 73000 miles no no problems.

Rabbit, I sell programmers of several different brands and from the feedback I have gotten from customers is the Bully Dog is by far the best. I run one on my 01 7.3 powerstroke, with 40" tires I still get about 16 mpg, also have one on our 08 6.4 and it picked up about 4 mpg over what it got stock. I get about 12 mpg with the 08 pulling a 28' enclosed and 70-80 mph towing.
