like to see pics of how and where everyone mounted there chute rease handle

you could just wad it up in your lap and toss it out the window at the end of the run... :lol:

Do you have a bar running across your roof from the funny car cage to the passengers side up above. Maybe if you can show us inside of car I'm sure someone on here would point out a good palce for you Good Luck

Its a bit expensive but i made a CO2 assisted chute. I just put a button withen close reach of the steering wheel which was connected to a little pnumatic cylinder and CO2 bottle(Dedenbear)which pulled the cable to deploy the chute. Its nice and tidy and works with ease. No pulling handles at 170MPH anymore.But in saying that there is a handle there for backup.send me your email if you like and ill email you a few pics.If not i can just post them on here for you.

the air cly does sound nice and neet..this car i'm building will be used in car shows also so this may look cleaner.
