Oils
I ran stock cars for many years and used Mobil 1 20W50 with out any problems. I still use Mobil 1 in my Street rod/Drag car and no problems. Any of the Syn. oils are okay its just a matter of preference. Do not use Syn. oil to break in a new engine. Use regular weight oil to break in your engine then switch to Syn. brand of your choice. Hope this helps.

MY MOTOR BUILDER SAID THE NEW HYPE IS BRAD PENN OIL "THE GREEN OIL" IT HAS QUITE A BIT OF HISTORY,LOOK IT UP IF CURIOSITY GETS THE BEST OF YA.
ITS PART SYNTHETIC AND PART CONVENTIONAL OIL
MY MOTOR BUILDER AND A FELLOW RACER AGREED THAT MORE AND MORE GUYS THAT ARE RACING GO WITH THE GREEN STUFF.IM GONNA BE TRYING SOME OUT HERE NEXT OIL CHANGE
IVE BEEN HEARING THAT THE MOST BENEFICIAL ASPECT IS THE OIL IS EXCELLENT IN KEEPING ITS SLIPPERYNESS WHEN CONTAMINATED.

Last year I was using Shell Rotela motor oil , changed oil and filter every other race. Oil would be a little dark when I changed it. This year I switched to Brad Penn oil and went to change the oil and filter , took the filter off and the oil looked as good as when I put It in so I just filled the filter and didn't even drain the oil.
