Default Anybody run an alternator on their stock chassis drag car

I'm looking to run an alternator on my 64 Chevelle. It is a sbc. I have an electric water pump and turn the motor about 7500 at the big end. What kits out there will allow me to run an alternator with an electric water pump. I would appreciate any info from anyone with a current set-up especially a 64 Chevelle. Thanks,
Zane

I ran one on my 64 for quite a few years and just made up my own mounts.

I used Moroso's Water Pump drive and a stock water pump and had the Alt. mounted down low on the pass. side. Unfortunetly I dont have any pics of it.

I hung it off of the threaded hole in the head and braced it to the water pump drive mount and then made a lower mount.

I got one off e-bay. It works with the Pro Form style electric pump. I haven't ran the car yet but, it looks like it will be ok. Just look up alternator brackets and you will find it.
