Alky vs. gas
 Need some input hear folks. BBC...454...14.1...Dart 320's port matched, Enderle bird catcher injection w/3" spacer on Victor tunnel ram mani., MSD Digi 7 ignition, gas ported pistons, mild roller & kit.
Running alky now, but can I "safely" run race gas with 14.1 and appropriate jetting/ignition changes?
Thanks a bunch for your input!

ya don't see many injections such as the birdcatchers etc...running gas...but i did do some research on doing the same thing when i ran a ron's (toilet bowl) a few years back...and the answer is yes it can be done (broad answer)......your ignition will be fine....if anything you would need something hotter for alcohol not gas.
Jim at enderle can start you close with jetting

bjuice..... thanks for the input & contact. I was concerned with the compression ratio being on the high side, for gas.
The hat is adjustable and the tunnel ram is plumbed/injected in each runner. Also run normal pill and a high speed bleed so she doesn't load up/stumble coming out of the box.

i am an ex vp fuel dealer..trust me they make high enough octane gas to support what your speaking of....i would say c-16 would take care of the bigger part ..but they do make a higher octane gas if need be...
Sunoco also makes a 118 octane version now ..if you need something that high...much more reasonable..
now that alcohol has went thru the roof ( price) ..gas is back practical ( price wise ) for many..
good luck...also Jim is a nice guy..be prepared to tell him what your combo is including heads etc,,,
he will get you in the ball park
