Vacuum Pump installation
I am putting on a Moroso 22641 vaccum pump on my 540 BBC and I have never run one before and I am not quite sure how to set it up with the regulator and such. Does anyone have photos they can post to show me the correct way to set one up please? The oiling is a wet sump system. Thanks.

hey 468, i'm on the same boat, instructions are included in the pump,
and you have to get your valve cover welded for vacum and a pully
and oil can, purchasing the Aerospace system, with instructions.
i have not searched the web for a site, good luck 8)

Best things I can tell you how I've always did this and many others also.
Whichever side of the motor you put the pump run the hose thats pulls out of the valve cover to the opposite side and to the front of the valve cover. Several places sell a AN fitting that has a nut with holes on the back you can use just by adding a hole in the valve cover.
2nd thing .. I put the regulator right to my pump, aim to pull around 8-9 at idle.
My current setup has no regulator on it, it can be ran this way just have to watch the gauge more.
