converter question
I filled my converter with fluid and installed it. I noticed it did not make contact with the tail end of the crank so I sent it back and they welded the extension on but they did not cut the converter open to do it. My concern is that the heat from welding the extension on did some damage. Any one know if this will be a problem. Thanks, Mike

bbchevy thanks
bbchevy thanks, I would not worry but they had to weld it two times. The first weld was cold and the piece fell off. I sent it back to turbo action and had it welded a second time. Thanks, Mike

what happened with the orginal build ?..if they knew the motor plate thickness..they should have got this snout length dead on the 1st time..
i have a converter that has the threaded snout so you run different length snouts on different thickness motor plates.
i would stay away from whomever built that converter..no excuse for the weld job.
IMO
