Default Lifter bore problem

I need to find out how much lifter bore clearance is acceptable. I had some issues with low oil pressure in a race engine of mine and one of the lifters got a bit stuck in the lifter hole. I had to use a pry bar to remove it and it looked scorched.
I dont want to throw the block away but may have to.
any easy fix for these?

The lifter bores in that block can be bushed back to standard bore or they can be machined to .875 and no bushings or even .904.
