Default My Gasser

Here you go lively you have asked a couple different times to see my old hot rod so here it is. My 66 Chevy II Gasser may look like some kind of old barn find race car straight out of the late 60's. But You might want to look further. That is so far from the truth. The first shot is what I started with ops: and finished with the second shot. I did all the work myself except for the lettering which a friend did for me. It has a strong running little small block and of course a 4 speed is the only way the gears should be selected in it. This car has probably been the most fun toy I have ever had and in the 1 1/2 year since I finished it I have put probably 8000 miles on it with the 4.56 geared Dana under the rear of it. Oh and by the way I don't just putt around in it either I beat on it quite a bit too(see last picture).

Dale when you coming up this way? I am putting on a Nostalgia Drag Meet on the 29th that you might enjoy. If you are coming up that weekend give me a shout and try to come over. It should be a fun time.
Check out the site.
