Default VETTE UPDATE

Well guys here is an update on the vette..i will not even start to go onto what i have done to the car..but i can if anyone wants to know....I am A ONE MAN show..there hasn't been any wrench on this car but mine...so it takes me a little longer...

Whats left is gettinng my shocks back from Koni ( had them rebuilt) according to Koni they should be done this week ( 4 weeks and counting)
got the new springs in hand thanks to Mr RON OWENS of RON OWEN RACING.."great service"!

Next is to mount my NOS Bottle mounts and hook up the throttle pedal micro switch...of course a few other things i cannot think of....but i am very close my friends..

the car has been redone from front to back and top to bottom.

Brian glad to see that your hot rod is coming along. I am going to the track this weekend and run in the 5.40 class if my car will run it. Well good going and have fun with it.

shooting for this weekend Tom..i wanted the tranny bolted up and proper fluids in...i had it up this past weekend and realized that the converter i have has the adjustable snout for different thickness mid-plates..so i had to order the 1/8 thick screw on adapter..got it in late yesterday..tranny will be in tonight....will run the tranny lines...i will run a cooler..just my preference.....check the valves cold, put the oil in and hand prime the oil pump ..then we are ready...

now that i am getting so close ..i am really taking my time and thinking thru every step.....

i like a smooth start ups..no leaks ( oil, gas, tranny fluid), not forgetting anything i should have remembered ( that could cost me)...real easy to do with all i have done to the car the last 6 months....

this thing was stripped down to its shell back last January..it looked like a raill buggy...lol...

Brian
