Default WHAT HEAD GASKETS

On a 15.1 BBC would the regular Fel-Pro head gaskets be ok or would i need the Fel-Pro MLS gaskets. The bore size is 4.560 and the regular Fel-Pro gasket # is 1057.This is a N/A motor. Thanks

i have a 14:1 Cr motor and i run the Fel-Pro- Cometic head gaskets with head studs..the study i did on them before i dropped $200 on a set of head gaskets came out good..there were claims of turbo,Nos,Blower guys running these gaskets with high cylinder pressure and not squeeing one out..so i went with them..happy so far....

i would stud the heads if you haven't already for more squeeze.

My take on it..

Default Head gasket

I would highly recommend the Cometic gaskets. A local engine builder of super gas engines got me to use them after a head gasket blowout and I never had the problem again. I also went with a head stud kit. A few extra dollars but well worth the peace of mind.
