if you want , go to gm-disel.com. lots of info on there. i've got a 94 that has 223,000+ miles on it. they do have their faults, but i still like mine.

yeah, did that already and have put on about 30,000 on since and have had no problems. there is a few hop ups you can do to them. you can also go to kennedydiesel.comand sixfiveturbodiesel.com. are you going to do a lot of pulling with this or just use it for daily use?

i've got about the same distance round trip, too. i'm pulling open trailer and my s10 thru some hilly country. not as much wht as what your pulling. the hills can be a challange in hot temps. if you put water injection or a intercooler on, it will pull a lot better as you will have a cooler intake charge going into the engine. one hill coming out of ft. pierre is @a mile long and 6% grade. i top it out at @60mph after hitting the bottom @ 75. temp gets @210 when it's 100 deg out side on this long hill then cools off after a few easy miles.

i had a 2000 ford 4 door.with the power stroke motor and i had some probs with it. cam sencer then the injector drive mod.both left me sitting on the side of the road, with the trailer.i really like the dodges but i can live in a quad cab.and cant really aford the new price on a 4 door dodge.with a diesel.this year.i have had a 2000 dodge with a diesel.and man did that thing pull.i told a guy one time,if he could put a hitch on the world i think my old dodge would pull it.
