UPDATED PICS OF HOME TRACK
well the concrete has been poured..got to wait 28 days before it cures before they can grind down....we are now a fully paved concrete race track from tree to traps..check out the progress.....yaaa haaaaaa.....

Hey Brian that will be a big change for the track. It's still gunna be 1/8th mile right? What about the shutdown. Does that give any problems?

Looks great,I bet that will be a nice place to race,boy has that place changed since I was there.Looks like some quick times too.

its had cars as fast as 3.90's at 180 mph on it..and they got stopped ok..but at those speeds not much room for failure or procrastination..4.50 et cars on back have no problems..you just do not have a lot of time to think about it before applying the brakes...lol....and yes its 1/8 mile.

I must say that the track is looking pretty awesome. I remember going to this track when I was a wee little girl and I can say that it has made tremendous improvements. I'm looking forward to running some races there this year. Is there any chance that the owners are considering becoming an IHRA sanctioned track?

I would have to say tree to TREES!! I'm just spoiled here in Tulsa we have what seems like a mile to shut down in. As slow as my car is I have to get back on the gas to get off the track.
