Default roller lifters for aluminum bowtie block

which roller lifters do you use for a sbc aluminum bowtie block ?
straight up or offset ?

Guess depends on the heads you use?I have AFR 227 on my aluminum bowtie block and I use a standard roller lifter and it is standard lenght, Hope this helps

You need to run whatever offset is necessary for those heads in order for the pushrods to clear the heads, and correct the PR alignment as much as possible. The only one that is different is the SB2, you can run them with the stock lifter location and offset lifters or get a block with the SB2 lifter bore configuration. Also requires a different cam, yours will not.
