I've had plenty of dealings with Curtis Boggs of RFD. You won't find a better guy anywhere. I'd send him anything except my wife!

More about Curtis Boggs RFD
www.raceflowdevelopment.com

1st.
Search the internet and you will not find one person who talks bad about him, I am pretty certain. I have never seen any post from a dis-satisfied customer.

I am getting ready to buy yet another set of his heads next week, the Monster 18 Deg Small Block Heads.

For the dollar it is my very firm belief that there is not a better BB Chevy Conventional Head available as delievered than the RFD Ports in the Edlebrock Victor 24 deg casting. Same applies to what the throat work and the overall completed head looks like.

I am 62 yo, and
have been in this all my life. I have seen and at times used some of the best conventional and spread port heads that were available when they were new. That means I have seen a lot of used professional heads come through. I currently have in-house a pair of the best CNC Heads Brodix sells (the CNC KC PB 1200). Even compared to those and the quality of CNC Machine Work Brodix had Kieth Kraft Racing do, I am much more impressed with the quality of these Conventional Edlebrock RFD Curtis Boggs heads.

No matter which head you desire, I suggest and recommend you to consult with Curtis Boggs at Race Flow Development (RFD) about what deal he can do for you. You will get better heads for the money.
Curtis Buys bare castings from Edlebrock, Brodix, and Dart, and installs his own designed by him CNC Porting in them.

Each ported set of heads will not be exactly the same as what I have here. These were tailered for the use we are building this for to use full 4 inch exhaust in a 3,500 lb car with 10.5 tires and a Powerglide. Someone elses will be made different. The horsepower range you are shooting for this one will do but will be capable of street driving to car shows.

I hope it is ok with Curtis for me to post this. These numbers are read from the actual Flow Chart these heads tested. Exhaust ports were flow tested without any pipe attached. This is what you can get from Race Flow DEvelopment for the same money you would buy a production done shelf stock head from the others and you will still have to wait at least as long from them.

380 cc Intake Runners;

Intake
.100 - 80
.125 - 145
.250 - 212
.375 - 300
.500 - 359
.625 - 398
.750 - 420
.875 - 434.8
1.00 - 440

Exhaust
.100 - 58
.125 - 79
.250 - 150
.375 - 205
.500 - 248
.625 - 296
.750 - 322
.875 - 336
1.00 - 337

A couple of pics so you can see how free flowing these are. Look at the exhaust ports and understand why I am so impressed. Now go back and look at exhaust flow numbers.
