Default broken th350 fix?

I'm thinking about putting in a ultra-bell bellhousing on my th350 to help with the cracking problem along with traction bars and correcting the pinion angle. what do you all think?[/list]

Well I don't think it should be cracking the bell housing in the first place. I've been racing for 25 years and never busted a trans case. You've got a real problem if you are. Do you have sub frame connectors or a roll cage? Sounds to me like you have way to much chassiss flex along with not enough flexibility in the mounts.

If go to an ultra bell you may still brake something just in a different location, so your just covering up the problem and transfering it to the next weakest link. Just my $.02

If you don't fix the cause it will show up somewhere else.

see the 1st post you created...add to it instead of making a new thread..
you have people answering you on the 1st thread..

again...MID-PLATE...and a front plate or makeshift front plate..3/8 grade 8 bolts and a heavy chain works wonders if you cannot fab up your own front plate.

then start with your suspension...you are cracking the bell housing because the tranny is twisting when the motor is lauching therefore putting the tranny housing in a bind..and it CRACKS...thats why mid-plates are used.
