Default how far can you angle your engine?

I'm wondering how far you can angle your engine before oil or performance problems happen. I'm at 6 * already seems to have a pretty good angle to it. We mud drag race so we have a transfer case after the tranny and its big a bulky after the end of the trans. I have to cut some of the floor out but would like to minimize the cutting I have no clearance problems with a belt drivin dist in the front, and runs on a dry sump.

Thanks,
Athony

I am just guessing at this answer but also using a little reasoning.

I don't think it matters as long as your fuel bowls have enough fuel in them, and they are not spilling out the top.

Consider that Hill Climbers while thay are racing the engine is at a pretty good angle. Consider that a drag car doing a high wheelie and riding it hgh down the track has the engine at a pretty good angle.
