Default engine mount

I am going to put a small block in an s-10 and want to move the engine farther back and lower using motor plates. But I do not know how low to mount it. Where is it best for weight transfer? Any suggestions?

You can use various swap mount kits available anywhere and get it to the firewall, but the height is limited. If you're crafty, use a motor plate and mount it how you see fit. Personally, if it's going to be a street/strip rig get the swap mounts, their alot less of a headache.

If you have any questions, just ask.

Here's a place that is strictly swapped S-10's. Alot of good info there.
