Default 400 Brake problems

I have a turbo 400 with a trans brake, after about three runs, when I have it in neutral and hit the button for reverse, it seems like it takes about 5 seconds for it to "slide" into gear. I don't think the solenoid is the problem, because right after, it works fine staging. Any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks, Sean

I've always put mine in reverse not neutral when I hit the button. You may try that to see if it works better.
