well if you ask this question 6 to 7 years ago i would say you would be getting answers all over the place..also how much Nos you planning on putting to it or how much boost ?.......anything over 10lbs boost most blower companies recommend o-ring block, head studs etc...

but now these days they have the MLS (MUTLI LAYER STEEL) head gaskets with built in o-ring bosses that they claim can handle some pretty good boost levels and NOS....of course these can be put on with head bolts...but if your down that far why not stud it....but it will take up the need for some o-ringing situations...

i have seen 14 to 1 compression with normal head bolts with the good fel-pro head gasket...( just to give you some numbers to chew on).

i have a naturally aspirated 511ci 14 to 1 compression and i have studs with the fel-pro (mls) head gasket.....no problems so far.

hope this helps you...

also he can ask the question over here at RJ..AT LEAST HE WILL GET THE RIGHT ANSWERS...lol
