Default Rings

Well my 377 project has turned into a 383. I have had a tough time with mail order parts. I ordered a forged stroker rotating assemble they sent a cast crank and dished -20.4 pistons and i-beam instead of h-beam rods. Well now I finally got the stuff minus the rings. What rings do you recommend for a 383 LT1 Street Strip motor? Thanks in advance
I failed to mention that my goal is to get this 3600 car and driver into the 10's So it may take a 200 shot of nitrious. the pistons are Keith BLack and require 2-1/16 and 1-3/16 rings

Childs and Albert's plasma moly rings are a good overall choice, opinions on rings will vary wildly on here you'll see.
Your pistons are forged correct? Gonna need them for the 200 shot you mentioned.
What compression? solid roller? carb, intake choice? Give us more info, we might be able to help get you where you wanna be w/out the spray.
Goodluck, Charles

Like Charles told youy. Personal preferences vary. I prefer and use Total Seal. If you chose to go with Total Seal call to talk only with Keith Jones and get his recommendation.

The compression is going to be about 10 to 1 yes the pistons are forged and the intake is a ported stock LT1 I will be using 42# injectors and hydraulic roller lifters.

Default Mail Order Parts

RPM Machine was the purveyor of my parts. They were nice and seemed knowedgeable, I ordered a 383 forged rotating assembly with H-beam rods they sent a 383 cast crank with I-beam rods and -20.4 dished pistons. They replaced the crank and rods and pistons with no rings. I had the assemble balanced but now I am going to have to get it balanced again because the parts are all changed. I am going to just buy the rings I need so I can put the motor together. I am not knocking the company but it has not gone very smooth for me.

Default Motor Build

I got my heads in stock LT1 castings that really look slick they are what they call a stage 3 porting job with a matching ported intake. 2.02-1.60 valves. Any direction you look at them they look slick I hope they make power.
