you probably don't see many of them because they don't move much air,with there 185 c.c. runner there basically a street head and do a good job at that,but on a 400 cu.in engine you could use a lot more head Bill

these have been ported so im sure ill get more flow.also port matched to super victor intake.
but i cant complain for what I got the complete motor for.

I got a new set of AFR 227 heads that ill throw on and fix that other issue I had with the intake.

yeah I hear they are deep breathing heads
ok to clarify they are -8 heads not -8 pro heads.
(bigger port volumes)
194 cc intake ports 67cc chamber volume
valve sizes 2.080/1.600

I have a set of -8 on a 331 in a 71 nova that runs 6.90 in n the 1/8th.They really surprised me they would run as good as it did .I'm like you they was a good deal so I said what the heck...LOL only $300 bare and ported and polished.
