Default latch or cammlock belts

any racers out there, that have gone from the latch type 5or 6 point harness to the camlock type? It takes me a long time to get them latched and tightened down and was wondering if the camlocks are lots faster, I am all fingers and was wondering if the later is better. I sit in the stageing lanes strapped in so I wont hold people up makes for a sore hip and ass

I use latch lock. I heard stories of some guys that get out of shape or roll there car sometimes hit the cam lock with there arms or hand and it releases the belts.
I remember that happened to Cruz Pedregon a while back and his face hit the windshield when the chutes came out.
I think it's harder to release the belts with a latch lock. I also think it should be.

Default cam lock/latch lock

cam lock belts are very very convenient, but ive always been afraid something could bump it in a wreck. my only bad experience was when I landed upside down and was wearing a latch lock style harness. it held good but with any belt, with your body weight hanging upside down on the shoulder straps, its hard to get it unlocked. but in that kind of situation, strength comes with the adreneline to get the he** out of the car in case something else may happen. since then ive just stuck with the latch style lock belts
