Default Cylinder head temp??????

I have a 355c.u. small block chevy engine with
Brodix spec heads, aluminum water pump and radiator. My temp sending unit is between the two center exhaust ports. I am wondering what would be a normal operating temperature range. Thanks for any help

I would say around 190 to 210 would be normal for city driving in the heat.
Make sure you run a thermastat or a restrictor. If you dont the water won't stay in the radiator long enough to exchange the heat and your water temp will eventually get hotter and hotter the longer you drive.
You can get away without running a thermastat at the track but its a must on the street.
