Default Just saying Hi

Hi to all, some of you will know me already, Tom, Brian and a few others.

I used to use this forum a while ago but have not been on for quite a while.

Anyway I'll probably be around a bit more from now on.

For those that Don't know me I run a super pro altered with a best time of 8.1 @ 160mph. its still on a carb and racing gas and when I get it into the sevens with the 511 BBC, I have a KB olds 540 engine to go in that may well be on injected alky.

I race for fun and mainly to make the thing go as fast as it can.

Oh one other detail you should know is that I am based in the UK, although through here and another forum I have many friends in the states.

Brian, I wish I was half as good as that !! now that little girl of yours is growing fast, glad to see and hear things are good with you..
World record--- not quite-- it did run the first ever sub seven second run in sweden way back in the 70's..
I also see you remember the "cheers".. over hear its like saying "bye for now" and the germans always say it after a phone conversation..

As for that Altered you had, I would have been on the plane...

Welsey asked me to put a post in the "how long have you been racing" post, I'm going to cheat and copy some off my web site..
